2025 Annual HOA Meeting & Board Elections

📅 Tuesday, October 21, 2025
7:00 – 8:30 PM
📍 Hardy Room @ Davis Library

Our Annual Meeting is an important time to come together as neighbors. During this meeting, we’ll review HOA activity from the past year, share updates, and hold Board Elections. Each household is entitled to one vote in the election process.

Why Your Participation Matters

Your HOA Board works on behalf of the neighborhood — but we really can’t do it alone. We are asking residents to consider stepping up and joining the Board in some capacity this year. Over the past two years, only one new member has joined, and we would love to see fresh involvement and new perspectives this year.

  • Who Can Serve? Any dues-paying resident may run for a Board Officer position or serve on a Committee.

  • Treasurer Note: For continuity, the Treasurer role is typically filled by someone with at least one year of prior Board experience.

  • Commitment: The time requirement is minimal — about 1–2 hours per month, sometimes less. Board meetings are held every 2–3 months and usually last about 90 minutes.

Nominations & Elections

We will announce nominations at the meeting, and elections will be held that evening. To serve on the Board, members must be current on their HOA dues.

This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to our neighborhood, meet more of your neighbors, and help guide the future of Carriage Hills.

Why CONTRIBUTION Matters:

Supporting our Neighborhood’s Growth and Community Spirit

Published February 1, 2025

As a resident of this vibrant neighborhood, you’re part of something special—a place where people take pride in their homes, surroundings, and community. One of the best ways to ensure that your neighborhood continues to thrive is by becoming an active member of the Carriage Hills Homeowners Association (CHHOA). While it is an optional commitment, the benefits of joining the HOA are immense, and your membership dollars directly support two key areas that benefit everyone: neighborhood maintenance and community engagement.

1. Maintaining Our Neighborhood’s Appeal

A large portion of HOA membership dues go toward maintaining the aesthetic and physical appeal of our neighborhood. This includes the landscaping at the neighborhood entrance, which serves as the first impression of our community for visitors, potential homebuyers, and even for ourselves each day. By becoming a member, you’re contributing to the beautiful green spaces, colorful flower beds, seasonal holiday decor and pristine common areas that make our neighborhood a desirable place to live. This upkeep not only enhances our daily environment but also helps protect property values for everyone.

2. Building a Stronger Community

Being a part of the HOA also means supporting the social and recreational events that bring us all together. Whether it’s a neighborhood BBQ, holiday parties, or seasonal activities, your membership helps fund these fun and engaging events. These occasions foster friendships, strengthen bonds among neighbors, and create a sense of belonging that’s hard to replicate. Plus, they’re a great way to meet new people, stay connected, and make lasting memories with your family and friends.

3. Have a Say in What Happens

When you’re a member of the HOA, you also gain a voice in the decisions that impact our neighborhood. From improvements to common areas to rules that help maintain the quality of life, being involved in HOA meetings and voting on initiatives gives you the chance to shape the community in ways that matter to you and your family.

4. Promote a Safe and Welcoming Environment

A strong HOA helps enforce community guidelines that keep our neighborhood clean, safe, and inviting. This ensures that everyone adheres to standards that benefit all residents, from maintaining yards to adhering to noise regulations. The HOA helps create a harmonious environment where neighbors respect each other, contributing to the overall quality of life.

By contributing to the HOA, you’re not just paying dues—you’re investing in the ongoing success and vitality of your neighborhood. Your contribution helps maintain beautiful landscaping, supports fun community events, and ensures that the standards you care about are upheld. Take pride in being part of a community that values both its aesthetic appeal and the relationships that make it truly special.

While it is completely optional, please consider contributing your annual household dues and be a part of something that makes Carriage Hills a wonderful place to call home!
